Small Group Counseling
Small group counseling is offered to provide students with the opportunity to develop skills essential to successful social, academic, and behavioral functioning. Students benefit from not only learning essential skills and practicing them in an encouraging environment, but they also benefit from connecting with other students in the small group. Students are usually grouped together based on grade level. Signed parent/guardian permission is required for all on-going small group counseling.
Parents, teachers, and students can refer students for small group counseling, but the parent/guardian must sign permission for the student to actually participate in the small group.
